Description:
Submarine power cable is a major transmission cable for carrying electric power below the surface of the water.it is also possible to use submarine power cables beneath fresh water.

Content:
Our submarine cables are used in areas such as the transmission of electricity generated using offshore wind power generating facilities, which is attracting attention as power transmission to remote islands that have aging power generation facilities and as a renewable energy source.
ZMS has the capability to manufacture long continuous length HVAC submarine cables without factory splices with the state-of-the-art VCV lines and vertical assembly lines and store the long length complete submarine cables with two big outdoor turntables to deliver in one segment without necessity of using offshore joint. Moreover, the rather short length (80m) for cable loading out to the vessel calling at the wharf greatly reduces the risk during the process.
Reference Standards
CIGRE Recommendations: CIGRE 496, CIGRE 623.
Types & Purposes
● For offshore wind farm
-Export cable to transport the total generated power from offshore substation to onshore substation
● For interconnection
-Interconnecting grids of countries
-Power supply from mainland to isolated islands
