    Armoured Cable SWA AWA

Armoured LSZH Sheathed Power Cables (1-4 Cores)
  • Armoured Power Cable is mainly used in power stations, mass transit underground passenger systems, airports, petrochemical plants, hotels, hospitals, and high-rise buildings.

The purpose of cable with an armor layer is not only to enhance the tensile strength, compressive strength and other mechanical protection to elongate the service life, but also to improve the cable's anti-interference performance through shielding protection.

Commonly used armored materials are steel belts, steel wire, aluminum belts, aluminum tubes,s and so on.

Among them, the steel belt and steel wire armor layer have high permeability and good magnetic shielding effect, which can be used to resist low-frequency interference, and can make the armored cable section laying in direct burial without wearing tube and cheap and good quality in practical use.

ZMS CABLE GROUP has a wide product scope, such as armored LSZH Sheathed Power Cables, AAC, AAAC, ACSR conductors, ABC Cable, Power Cable, Underground Cable, Control Cable, and more.

Our company can provide our customers with professional and personalized products and engineering services according to the actual working condition and requirements of each customer.

With the above-mentioned common armored materials involved, ZMSCABLE cable company supports the customization of special cables according to customer needs.

Power Cable Construction of Armoured LSZH Sheathed

Conductor: Plain annealed copper wire, stranded according to IEC 60228 class 2.

Cable Inner Sheath (optional): Thermoplastic LSZH Compound.

    Armoring: Galvanized steel wire.

Outer Sheath: Thermoplastic LSZH compound type LTS3 as per BS 7655-6.1. UV resistance, hydrocarbon resistance, oil resistance, anti-rodent, and anti-termite properties can be offered for adoption.

    Role of Armored Cable

An armored cable mechanical protection layer can be added to any structure of the cable to increase the mechanical strength of the cable and improve its anti-erosion ability, it is a special cable designed for area which is vulnerable to mechanical damage and erosion.

The cable can be laid in any way and is more suitable for direct burial in rocky areas.

To put it plainly, the armored cable is also buried wire and cable, power line transmission cable plus the purpose of the armored layer in addition to enhancing the tensile strength, compressive strength, and other mechanical protection elongated service life, armored has the necessary resistance to external forces, but also can put some rats bite, not to cause power transmission problems through the armored, armored bending radius to be large, the armored layer can be grounded to protect the cable.
